Leslie has over 20 years experience working on women's causes and promoting health and wellness. Most recently she was the Executive Director of the Endometriosis Foundation of America. She is a senior advisor to the China-US Chamber of Commerce and leads Heinlyn, a marketing firm in China and the US. Leslie believes that 800 million women in China and the United States can positively change the world if they engage in a steady and productive conversation. Her experience working in the healthcare sector has reinforced her belief that women need to advocate for their health and well being, for their sake and the sake of their families.
Mingyi has more than 18 years of experience working with global companies in the US, China, Europe and South America in a variety of industries including real estate, financial services, technology, media, travel, education and entertainment, and has obtained an unique understanding about how to most effectively work with global companies. Her ability to interact with both Chinese and American women has convince her that a foundation devoted to women can make a tremendous positive difference in the world.
Lisa Faith Phillips (Lisa@CUSWF.org) is an innovator and entrepreneur with experience in both the nonprofit and business sectors. Most recently she worked at the Council on Foreign Relations in digital strategy, funding and partnership development, and served as President of Women’s Media Group. Lisa has held executive positions in business development, publishing and digital strategy at Random House, Hachette and Time Warner.
Following her passion for empowering women and education, she was president and boards member of Women’s Media Group, a nonprofit networking and mentoring organization and Women in Publishing. She is currenlty on the board of Wellesley College Club of New York and served on the board of etextbook.com. Lisa speaks at digital and publishing conferences on digital media innovation. A graduate of Wellesley College, Lisa holds a M.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics and spent a year at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris.
Ella is from Norwich, England, and graduated from Wellesley College in 2021 with a major in East Asian Studies (China concentration) and an Economics minor. She has been a part of CUSWF since February 2022, getting to use her leadership, event planning, organisational, and technical skills, as well as her Mandarin skills that she developed at college.
Ella has been working hard to help coordinate the Summer Internship Program, Junior Board projects, and has been assisting Lisa with running CUSWF's social media and maintaining the website. Ella's most recent project that she is leading on behalf of the CUSWF is a Gen-Z podcast series featuring the voices of the CUSWF Junior Board.
Anton Creutzfeldtt graduated from Purchase College in 2021 with a degree in Environmental Studies. He was a Summer Intern at the Axel Lab at Columbia University conducting brain related research. Anton also provided social media support at a women's reproductive health foundation.
Anton coordinates CUSWF's IT platforms, provides strategic planning and conducts research and development particularly in the areas of climate change and clean energy.
Huan Xu is a graduate of Columbia University with an MPA in international finance and economic policy. She is a co-founder of an environmental protection technology company in China, and her working experience for Chinese local government makes her well poised to oversee that women are more powerful than they know. Katrina is a firm believer that when women help each other, incredible things happen.
Hannah Coffin graduated from Vassar College in 2021 with majors in Chinese and Women’s Studies. She has 3 years experience in fundraising, volunteer management, and grassroots organizing working for non-profit organizations and political campaigns.
Hannah is passionate about gender equality and facilitating international discourse and connections. She enjoys bringing these interests together in her work for the CUSWF. Her responsibilities include Donor Relations, Social Media, and Research and Development.
