About Mei Xu
Mei Xu successfully negotiated the sale of Chesapeake Bay Candle to Newell Brands in 2017, a conglomerate with a $14 billion portfolio of consumer goods. Mei is now focused on helping women-owned consumer product companies grow and prosper with e-commerce platform, Yes She May.
In June 2020, Mei created Yes She May (www.YesSheMay.com) to help women-owned brands survive and thrive. Her team aims to provide consumers a choice to shop from talented and thoughtful women vendors from around the world! Mei hopes to turn consumers into supporters and use their purses to show who they really care about.
In addition to fostering women's entrepreneurship, Ms. Xu also actively participates in impact investing and is a member of the Investment Committee of Halcyon Fund in Washington, DC and serves as a trustee of the University of Maryland Baltimore.

On Saturday, September 24th, 2022 we came together to celebrate the Fall Family Festival at the China Institute in NYC and commemorate the mid-autumn harvest with wishes for prosperity and time spent with family.
Mid-autumn is one of the most important festivals in China, when families gather under the full-moon and display lanterns to symbolically illuminate the path to success for the rest of the year. Join our celebration with music, art, sugar paintings, interactive activities and much more!
Thank you all who joined us!
Mariah Bonner has been an inspiration to us. Her cabaret career was just taking off when Covid hit, so Mariah moved to online streaming and brought her beautiful music and joy to a growing audience around the world!
Mariah tells us "This was a very special evening for me because it’ll be my first time performing my very own Cabaret show in the Big Apple. I shared songs in French and English from my latest album, and more, in the intimate setting of Pangea’s dreamy cabaret room."
The dapper pianist, singer and composer Marcus Dagan accompanied me on keys. And I had a very special guest, the grand comedian, singer and producer, Lisa Faith Phillips.
