The China-US Women's Foundation is proud to announce that this year, our will be hosting our first ever Film Festival! We are passionate about building bridges and increasing areas of friendship between China and the US, and we believe that this event will be an extremely effective and valuable way to inspire unity.
The China-US Women's Foundation Junior Board is extremely interested in the topic of sustainability, and how our planet is being impacted by the non-renewable energy sector.
We will be showing the documentary style film Behemoth, by Zhao Liang, which examines the environmental, sociological, and public health effects of coal-mining in China and Inner Mongolia.
Following the screening, we will have a discussion about the film and about our concerns regarding climate change, energy, and how we can make changes in our lives to help establish a more sustainable future for our earth.
Join us on Saturday, 7th of May, from 2pm to 3pm EST, for an online discussion with the Junior Board!
We will be discussing sustainability, our thoughts on the environment, clean energy, the impact of these non-renewable energies on our planet, and more!
